DESCRIZIONE
"Amarena Botticelli" is a dessert, after- dinner drink: Velvety, chocolatey, fruity and creamy.
So here is a story behind...
My "Amarena Botticelli" was named after a great Italian Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli. The masterpiece "The birth of Venus" shows the triumphant Goddess of Love and Beauty. Botticelli focuses on the birth of love in the world by depicting a beautiful nude woman coming to life. Venus is the Roman goddess whose functions encompassed love, beauty, desire, sex, fertility, prosperity and victory. Because women are the bearers of new life, Botticelli expresses Europe's opinion of beautiful woman as delicate, lovely givers of life.
So let's celebrate Goddess entrance to the World with my "Amarena Botticelli"!
Cocktail uses Cognac to bring floral and nutty notes that balanced with luscious and intensely flavorful Amarena cherries. Then powerful chocolate Cacao liqueur, Angostura bitter add enough depth to make this cocktail rich, but still allow all of the individual flavors to shine. Orange cream on the top gives this cocktail silky and refreshing velvety. I garnished my cocktail with the red coral- homemade churchy Amarena sponge cake.
Cheers for love!
